An AI reproducing personal data, making defamatory statements, claiming a work is by someone when it is not and many other things do break all sorts of civil and sometimes criminal laws. Distributing the AI itself may also be a problem. If it contains the works (as implied by the fact it reproduces them), it's not that different to a zip file of pirate work
