I think the internal amps in my Emotiva Stealth 6 monitors are dying. This is an unfortunately known problem and Emotiva won't fix them. Hopefully they are just tweaky because they've been sitting a while.
One of them had some pretty bad static as soon as you turned it on, but it gradually went away. The other has briefly cut out a few times. Here's hoping they get stable and stay that way a while.

When they are working, they sound marvelous. I do NOT want to go back to the cheap PreSonus monitors I was using in the apartment because these were simply too massive for the space.
