Snurple!
Hand-applied decals, and original grey eject lever because I liked the contrast. Undecided on whether to keep the new power/reset buttons or switch back, the darkening of the original plastic might not look too bad next to the transparent purple and grey.
Perhaps unsurpringly this was kinda a pain to do without having done any research first lol
I wasn't sure I'd like the polished look, I usually prefer the more textured finish the original console (and all my other purple systems) have, but it's growing on me as long as I don't care about fingerprints and scuffs, because marks of use means at least it's getting used, right?

@rajelaran@oldbytes.space I'm in love with this. It looks like a Jolly Rancher. Nostalgia aside, I always dug crystal clear glossy cases over the far more common (well, back when this was more of a thing) frosted ones... and I suddenly want nothing more in life than a Game Boy Light (because Indiglo) with a fully transparent case like that see-thru phone from the 90s. I must make it real.
