@thankfulmachine@oldbytes.space The fact they responded at all - and are going to be changing their funding polices, when community donations are tiny compared to what the corporations are giving them every year, is exactly why we shouldn't be abandoning them and splintering off in all different directions.
We should hold them accountable and make the project better.

@BenjaminNelan@mastodon.social There are things that cross the line. They crossed it. That is all! If the leadership wants to resign, I would accept that. Unless that happens, my eyes will look ahead and to somewhere else. It's not any more complicated than that. It's not a moral imperative for the Blender organization to exist. It is also not a moral imperative for Blender itself to exist.
