There wouldn't be any code to remove, the AI stuff is a separate add-on that's not installed by default. If that changes, then sure.
So is it just a fork with a different name and code of ethics that, realistically, means nothing if continuing to pull code from the main project when they release new features?
If it were in the vein of Vscodium, ungoogled-chromium, LineageOS... forks that are actually taking stuff out it would make more sense.
