You just said that forking based on a philosophy was not worthy of consideration, and I see from your account that you think forks for technical reasons has poor utility because it diverts resources or whatever. If you can't put 2 and 2 together regarding the decisions the leadership are making, I don't know what to tell you. A different organization would have a different set of priorities and develop the application how they see fit. If that happens to include upstream changes, fine. And yes, it's a form of competition. It happens. It's difficult not to conclude that your philosophy doesn't include rejecting AI corporations' takeover of all industry and human endeavour and the rejection of the people who run such operations. If that's the case, would you please stop wasting our time?
