Also worth saying, if you haven't had much exposure - this dude spoke to power, was a threat to his dictatorial government, and he suffered for it. Imagine a Sex Pistols (so different but contemporaneous) or more recently Rage Against the Machine who were sufficiently popular, powerful and persuasive that the state came after them. (Yes I am aware of just how problematic he was, and am not educated enough on the context to claim to be able to assess him in totality, but he had force that went way beyond being danceable, is what I'm trying to say)
