I feel the need to comment on the recent DE DNSSEC incident. First off, hugs! This sucks and I know lots of people have been called on to respond and will be expected to explain; a stressful and often thankless duty. Speaking from the perspective of one who has planned, orchestrated, and implemented both a DNSSEC algorithm rollover and a multisigner transition for the flagship zone of a multi-billion dollar enterprise, I understand the stakes, and feel deeply the significance of the moment.
