I started watching Murderbot, the TV adaptation of Martha Wells' "The murderbot diaries". Well, the first season is all focused on the first novel, "All systems red" and I was extra skeptical, especially since the huge disappointment in the Silo TV show, but I must say that this show clicks all the right buttons I've already seen the main actor in another role that I quite enjoyed but for the life of me I can't remember where and when. Anyhoo, if you liked the books or if you're looking for a mid-light hearted show, this one is highly suggested #TVShow #Murderbot

@alex@gamerstavern.online Generally agree, although I wish they either went full-in on a Murderbot-centric POV like in the books, or on the opposite have a less internal POV. We have a weird in-between on this one Still a really good adaptation though!

@alex@gamerstavern.online I liked it a lot, though I haven't read the book. Alexander Skarsgard has been in a lot of shows. I remember him best as vampire Erik Northman in True Blood.

@alex@gamerstavern.online I though the show felt like a serial made by the corporate rim from the books. If that's good or bad is very much up to the viewer I think.
