Prob is for Australia to emulate the Danes, the govt would need to be a shareholder with a controling interest (51%+) and there is little appetive for such an investment in any current political party/groups or even independent. But legislating a #GasExportTax is fully within the govt’s remit. And there the problem is with our politicians’ adherence to the flawed #NeoLiberalism that favours unfetted capitalism and deregulated markets. Change our govt with no major parties able to govt without #Greens and #Indies and we’d have a real shot at this…
