anyone here with an experience of learning to play piano? is it normal to very quickly and easily learn to play with just one hand at a time - and even play something learned on the right hand only with the left hand (or vice versa) correctly on the very first try despite awkward finger placement - but have it all completely go to shit on any attempt to play both hands at the same time? and I mean all - relative finger placement within a chord/arpeggio, tempo, progression along the tune, the whole thing. it feels as if I need to re-learn the same piece from scratch that way. I know my motor control is weird in some ways, issues with left/right synchronization happened in other contexts, so I wonder how much of this is just a common human experience. /erin
