The saga of my vehicular inactivity vs my car battery continues. It turned over first try this time, amazingly, so I went on a little joy ride to charge it before dropping off the rent check. (Yes I have to write and drop off a paper check. It's the eighties out here.) I saw a very long train and some black steers, unrelated to the train. I did not see the donkeys, probably because I had my phone camera ready for them.
