@indi@mefi.social considering how long you were a caretaker, I would expect it would take a very long time for your subconscious to understand that you’re not one anymore.

@MexicanYenta@mastodon.social yeah. I'm not there yet, I don't think. It still feels more like I'm on vacation and she's in a facility than it feels like she's gone. Except I know she is.
