Personally I think that a lot of the paperwork for spending money seems like busywork -- really, you want me to check the box in a spreadsheet that I am not going to travel to Iran or North Korea or Cuba, then have my boss print it out and sign it, then have the department admin scan it, all so I can participate in a free online conference? -- but maybe someone with knowledge of compliance processes could pick out better than I can which bits of the process are busywork and which are actually necessary

    That particular case, I'm sure could be automated to a greater degree. But I don't know why generative AI would need to be involved. It's like people think that there was no automation before 2022?
