When I have done fire risky things, I have made sure to have two fire extinguishers near at hand. Been a few years since I have welded at home or used candles on the xmas tree, though

@elithebearded@fed.qaz.red yea this is about unexpected fire indoors. other more specific guidance naturally applies, e.g. here's a pyrotechnic display that i worked on, all racked up in the rain with three extinguishers visible and probably a fourth around the corner.
