As an avid Star Trek fan, there are not scroll bars on LCARS UI design elements from #StarTrek. So technically Scotty would be just as annoyed with the “mouse”.
Original Trek predated UI in computer systems, but the interfaces were knobs and screens. Much of the interactive elements were based on voice. So Siri stumbling with requests might be something they’d have done if the movies were made today.
