@clew@ecoevo.social Yes, it is VERY difficult to tell who has more expertise unless you are both inside a canonical hierarchy of knowledge, like academia. But again, expertise is a very bad criterion. If the flowchart is humor, then fine, but if it is serious, then this is a really big and gnarly fuckup of understanding. As I illustrated in another post, a junior nurse is clearly less experienced than the head of surgery, but still must be allowed to shout STOP if they see an error @michcampbell@fediscience.org

    @clew@ecoevo.social For example I can't tell from your profile and posts if you have experience in quality & safety, and from mine, you can't tell that I am a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and have conducted accident investigations, and hold a masters in knowledge management and qualifications in I/O psychology and organizational behavior These things are opaque to us So based on a tiny sample of what you say, and in the moment, I have to decide whether I should explain or not
