They ALWAYS have the right to shout STOP WRONG PATIENT, regardless of the power gradient, knowledge difference, or balance of expertise.
If they shout about vaccines being a hoax, then clearly they are unqualified, and need to be removed, but that is a different issue and doesn't alter that relative expertise is NOT a criterion
I didn't shift the ground, I used real world examples in which the principles are clear and important

@screwturn@mastodon.social Oof. My current employer is big mad at me because I had the balls to essentially do this as a new doc in their employ, Junior to them but mid-career now. They are soon to be rear view mirror material because if they can't take a legit stop signal at wrongdoing, I do not need to be there @clew@ecoevo.social @michcampbell@fediscience.org
