I mean really, full marks on being able to pontificate at such a level.

Like in ALL my years of being an EMT, doing accident investigations, interviewing cancer patients and suicide survivors, doing research on patient journey, doing Appreciative Inquiry studies, ... NOT ONCE did I ever pause to think, "wow, what if I used EMPATHY"

@screwturn@mastodon.social I wasn't intending to be dismissive. I apologize if I came across that way. I was attempting to explain that these interactions are more about acknowledging. You're talking about risks and so on if you start doing all that you're just going to tie yourself in knots. I'm saying don't do all that.
