Per my last re-toot:
Me, in art school being tired of rulers and grids: "when am I gonna need to know formal three point perspective? draftsmanship is outdated, I will just get by with atmospheric perspective and it'll be fine, it worked for Cezanne"
Me now: they trained image generating AI on every picture in the entire deviant art corpus and now it does photorealistic images with bad anatomy and shitty perspective like a freshman art student.
Me: I'm doing my part!

Gonna be real, part of being demotivated about updating my comic has been the sure knowledge that a lot of our traffic is scrapers and bots, but like, maybe I just need to reframe my perspective? My godawful handwriting and goofy side-of-the-head-talking furry cartoons, are all training ai into bad habits, that, unlike a human artist, cannot be overcome by careful planning in the sketch phase.
