Results for the #MSX dev 2025 are out. Too many "overpowered" games into the top relying on new expansions for my personal preference.
A few excellent MSX-1 games crawled towards the top 10 spots. My favourites are Chrono Runner, Shift, and Space Bash.
My game ended up in the middle of the pack, which was expected, as it was a simple and unoriginal game, but highly polished.

Over the last twenty years, it has always been complete nonsense to pit MSX1, MSX2, and monstrous 18Mbit + OPL-4 games against each other in the same competition — games with out-of-this-world hardware requirements that almost nobody actually owned back in the eighties and nineties. They should go back to dividing the competition into three categories: MSX1 games (64KB RAM/128kb ROM max, TMS9918, PSG), MSX2 games (256KB RAM/512Kb ROM max, V9938, PSG), and freestyle.
