@Sh41@androiddev.social I couldn't agree more. Over the last twenty years, it has always been complete nonsense to pit MSX1, MSX2, and monstrous 18Mbit + OPL-4 games against each other in the same competition — games with out-of-this-world hardware requirements that almost nobody actually owned back in the eighties and nineties.
They should go back to dividing the competition into three categories: MSX1 games (64KB RAM/128kb ROM max, TMS9918, PSG), MSX2 games (256KB RAM/512Kb ROM max, V9938, PSG), and freestyle.
