agreed. the effort in putting up wainscoting isn't worth it in such a tiny space.
my bedroom is 8 ft (2.4 M) x 6 ft (1.3 M). I went vertical to get as much storage as possible.
my aesthetic is "warehouse" and I have wire shelving all over my apartment 🤪

Im a big fan of IKEA furniture (in fact I used dimensions of IKEA Billy bookcases to cut my MDF to fill the wall) My inspiration and my home built attempt. The last photo is an old, not long after finishing, photo of my desk, chair and shelves.. BTW that leather chair? Rescued from being thrown into a skip !! Cost me nothing except transport ! My favourite price ;)
