In a mug my "choice" is usually crappy bags of tea leaf dust, so 30 seconds max.

@jgamble@fosstodon.org @annika@xoxo.zone Buy a good quality strainer and loose leaf tea! Or you can get this steeper bottle and use that: https://www.purezentea.com/product/glass-tea-infuser-bottle-with-double-lid/ (I use that one at work, but we also have a steeper that I use at home.)
