This is Gunnera manicata. Ever since I first saw one as a kid I wanted one. It's stuuuuupid to grow it in a pot. They're HUGE in real life..... but I needed one. It's an example of sharing your plants with the wildlife. Something totally shreds the first few leaves every year. Then it buggers off and the plant grows a new set of leaves. It's fine after that.
