I need a @ryan hot take on this… https://yro.slashdot.org/story/26/05/06/2014204/microsoft-edge-stores-passwords-in-plaintext-in-ram > Microsoft Edge Stores Passwords In Plaintext In RAM Once you have access to a particular system user account, and its memory, isn't it pretty much game over? I'm fine with Edge holding "SAVED" web site passwords in process memory forever. I don't want to be prompted for a fingerprint or eye scan every time I open a new tab and my 15 minute BOFH session cookie has expired on that site.
