For a land owner, their title, their inheritance, and their property are everything. Take it away and they are just some helpless person with no means of survival. But a sick landlord earns as much as a healthy one. For a craftsman, things break, new things are bought, materials get used up, tools wear out. If they get robbed, they can make it up. They are only brought down if they get injured or sick and can't work. I think this explains why rich people don't care about healthcare so much.
