@argv_minus_one@mastodon.sdf.org @fasterthanlime@hachyderm.io it's a billion times easier to just whitelist a set of characters than to go through the however many hundred thousand Unicode codepoints individually. It's also not looking for invisible characters, it's also looking for ambiguous characters
