@AbandonedAmerica@mastodon.social @Pheneatis@mstdn.ca As for the app signup, I know a lot of social networks ask for people's interests etc. after joining, so I feel like it might not be too hard on the user to ask those questions before joining instead, so that it will still narrow it down (ideally to 1 so there's no hesitation in choosing), but the ones it selects can be different for each user
