@hazelweakly have you checked out Scott Hanselmans blog yet: https://www.hanselman.com/blog/one-email-rule-have-a-separate-inbox-and-an-inbox-cc-to-reduce-email-stress-guaranteed (check out also the link to an older version of it here https://www.hanselman.com/blog/the-three-most-important-outlook-rules-for-processing-mail )

@hazelweakly I have a domain catch-all inbox and have a unique email for most of the things, it's then automatically sorted into folders, and I try to have time slots based on priorities to go through them. The main address is used purely only for human-to-human communication and I try to keep it that way, so it's manageable long term. Oh, and I use Thunderbird with a really compact and clean view.

@hazelweakly I used inbox rules to color code unread email. Cc’s one color, my boss another color, execs another, and anyone working on something hot another.

@hazelweakly And I use the "+" to have distinguishable emails but just one mail account so I know which service it is eg. Name+Service@domain.net
