@amenonsen@flipping.rocks @Rajiv@infosec.exchange I've been using Freecad pretty much as long as it has existed. Pretty neat to get the measurements correct. I'm so scatterbrained I tend to put wrong measurements on manual blueprints. If I do that in Freecad it either tells me I'm stupid, or the thing is drawn crooked if the measurements were wrong or crooked.

@jago@mementomori.social That is indeed a notable advantage, when drawing by hand it's tedious to precisely account for, e.g., plywood with 18.6mm thickness. Easy to make mistakes. @Rajiv@infosec.exchange
