Once again I am messing around with the Mastodon API :A_BlobCat_Code: I intend to export my bookmarks, most importantly grabbing the full content and media of each bookmarked toot—because toots can expire or be deleted.
I'm only doing this for myself, so it doesn't have to be pretty! However, authenticated API calls have to be done through an app registration. I guess the hot new Masto client "jsstaedtler_mucking_about_with_curl" will show up in the server logs soon enough

@jsstaedtler@mastodon.art There is an export feature built in to Mastodon, I just got a backup of my mastodon.art account in the event that I can import it into a pixelfed.art account
