Scent of distant turf smoke and midnight curlew calls drifting gently through the sliver of open window into my bedroom. Irish winters can be hard but they're gorgeous, too.

@Ciaraioch@mastodon.ie ah, I love the smell of turf fires. My sister and I are visiting in the north and the place we rented has a small fireplace. I might need to get a bag from some family just to have for a night. <3
