  Book Review: On Tyranny by Timothy Snyder On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons From The Twentieth Century by Timothy Snyder For some reason I had it in my head that this was at least a slightly older book. I certainly wasn't expecting examples from 2016 to be mentioned, but there they were.   Currently Reading: Straight by Chuck Tingle Straight by Chuck Tingle I've read Chuck Tingle's two later horror novels, Camp Damascus and Bury Your Gays and loved them both. It took me a bit, but I'm finally around to reading the first of his horror novels.   Book Review: Straight by Chuck Tingle Straight by Chuck Tingle Absolutely fantastic take on a zombie thriller. I had such a fun time reading this. Sure, it's a horror where our cast of four queer friends try to get through a night of purge-like cis/straight zombies killing queer people, but love always wins in a Chuck Tingle book.   Book Review: Evolution by Stephen Baxter Evolution by Stephen Baxter I borrowed Evolution from my local library because I thought it might work as a comparative novel for a book I'm querying, but out ended up not being a good fit for that.
