@gruber My memory-jogger to not forget things on an airline is when I open my bag to take something out, whatever compartment that thing goes in remains unzipped. That way if I forget to grab my iPad, when I grab my bag I will see that the iPad compartment is hanging open.

@_MrJasonW@mastodon.social @gruber@mastodon.social many years ago I was on an obviously old Virgin Atlantic 747 (probably -200) and was amazed to see the seatback pockets and overhead storage was secured by an almost nautical netting rather than what I was used to. But I think you see the seatback pockets on newer planes and trains like that more and more! (hopefully higher quality now) so it's more obvious if there's an iPad in there.
