@TonyVladusich Things being a “light bulb” for example.
It seems that it is at least challenging to suggest a “blackish” light bulb exists. Hence the idea that it has to at least start with a local segmented increment?

@troy_s The bulb itself or the light source within? I mean a light source will in almost every natural circumstance be a luminance increment wrt its local background.
