@megalomaniac Personally, I am content with a Pixel running GrapheneOS.
Graphene is, to my mind, the best if the Android-based options today.
But I would prefer not to use Android at all, which is a work in progress.

Just made the switch to graphene a couple of months ago, it was remarkably easy. Bought a used pixel so as not to give google the cash. Flashing gos took probably 20 mins from unboxing to booting into gos. I thought I might have issues with banking apps, but all of mine work perfectly. I needed a little help from the forum to get my work profile set up, but that was the only snag I've hit so far. Very recommend 👍
