I tried to make myself a primitive recurve bow, but I failed. Then I tried to make one for my daughter; failed again. Then I tried to make a simple long bow for my 4yo son; MISSION SUCCESS! All attemts from the same piece of stock as well! It's way too light on draw to work well with any of our stiff carbon arrows. I'm gonna have to learn tree shoot arrow making tech. TBC, I like it trad, but I'm gonna use modern tools, glues, and filaments 😅
