@tdp_org@mastodon.social I work taking donation calls remotely for dozens of clients. Agents are all over the us. We communicate with a single chat room if we have issues during calls. New Employee is an #ai bot to help field questions that started yesterday. I had an issue posted question boss and bot answered almost the exact time. Guess what happened? TOTALLY contradicted each other making my caller wonder WTF as I was laughing SOOO hard. strange; chat bot is not at work today. hmmmm #noai

@tdp_org@mastodon.social the nice thing about being actually competent at your job is that not using it will not have any effect on you. If you work somewhere that is pushing for utilisation, just learn enough AI buzz words to make them think you're using it. If old white men can pretend to competent for decades and fail always upwards, we can pretend to give a shit about AI. Clearly no one has a clue how to measure competence anymore
