I'm old enough to remember that in America, the propaganda used to be so crazy they had an entire channel called "the history channel".
It's entire job was to spew the modern religion of WW2, 24/7/365.
This went on for decades, spanning many generations.
You could tune in at any moment and hear some detailed department of war propaganda about "what happened" during WW2.
