@MissConstrue @dantheclamman They farm these in South Puget Sound. I remember fishing boats bringing bushels of them in at the marina where I bought my boat in Olympia back in 2022. I've never had them — or at least I don't think I have. I'd like to try them but I can't find them on any menu.

@mlanger@mastodon.world @MissConstrue@mefi.social @dantheclamman@scicomm.xyz I ate one in Seattle. It was tasty. The texture was slightly tougher than a clam. It is one of the strangest looking things I’ve eaten. And I’ve eaten some strange stuff. 🤓
