I’ve been paying attention to the progress of Graham Platner, the rough-around-the-edges working-class-hero type candidate for US senator in Maine. Specifically, I’ve been wondering, if he gets elected, will he turn into another John Fetterman. Apparently not! I just got a fund-raising text from his campaign asking for five bucks on the premise that enough small contributions could counter the effect of big money coming from billionaires *and AIPAC*. Saying that, he's obviously burned the Fetterman bridge behind him.
