Today I’m drinking another crassicolumna black tea, this one made from leaves rather than buds. It’s mild and pleasant and shares the feature I’ve come to expect from crassicolumna teas: a remarkably persistent honeyed huigan. I might as well say where I’ve gotten these crassicolumna teas Verdant Tea. I’m kind of reluctant to plug specific vendors, but they seem to be ahead of everyone else in this race. I’m relieved to say, though, that I’m pretty sure you can get crassicolumna teas from Yunnan Sourcing and Bitterleaf if you search for "ya bao". Why does ya bao get confused with crassicolumna? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Strangely nobody on the Chinese Web seems to sell these teas. Try searching for 厚轴茶 and you’ll find lots of articles but nothing for sale. @tea
