@avavsystems@mastodon.world @obsoletemediauk@mastodon.world used to call the BRC remote the "Bean Rice and Cheese" because burritos. for a time i made myself indispensable in the studio because i was the only one who bothered the tedium of learning to sync multiple ADATs to 24 trk analog using the Lynx sync box. it was a good problem to know how to solve. Tascam DA-88 were less popular but better imo. the tape closet in the studio was a fun place to dig and mix/match random tapes and run through the outboard + eventide etc
