@Malfunct I looked for something like that but didn't find anything. As for Linux, I built a custom kernel specifically for the C3 and it didn't make any difference.

@PurpleJillybeans bummer, it was a slightly odd processor so I hope you find a solution. I think I had moved to AMD processors in those years near the end of and shortly after college so had no experience with the c3 other than reading about it in magazines. At least you are trying to get a transmeta running?
