@LaF0rge Clean, non-snoopy link to an article about surveillance: https://citizenlab.ca/research/uncovering-global-telecom-exploitation-by-covert-surveillance-actors/ (using platforms like search.google, linkd.in, t.co, bit.ly, whatever the heck Amazon's is, just adds to people getting snooped upon. There's _no reason_ not to post links miles long to Mastodon, as every link gets shortened _by Mastodon_ to a max of 23 characters in-message, but will automagically resolve full length when a Mastodon reader clicks on it. Hat tip to @bagder and curl for showing me how to expand shortened links... admittedly, this one took a bit more effort than most, because of how Copilot-infested Microsoft LinkedIn ™️ ®️ ©️ EIEIO reacts to external links, but making curl JSON-prettyprint the output made it easy to find... and yes, I'm just trying to educate you but I am absolutely *dunking* 🏀 on MSFT because they absolutely know the wicked they continue to perpetrate on people and planet alike. #fuck_surveillance #fuck_AI
