I signed up for a program that provides vocational training in the hopes of getting back to work. But I don't have my birth certificate. It's either lost in my mother's things or it got lost in a move. I haven't seen the damn thing in over ten years. That means I need a new one and that shit is $30.
I ain't got that. You know they had the temerity to ask if I had a passport? Like ma'am, that's almost $200 bucks. Of course they need like seven different forms of ID? #disability #poverty

Ya'll really need my ID, my social card, my birth certificate, medical records to prove my disability AND a bank statement 😩 This is the reason that the SAVE Act is voter disenfranchisement that specifically takes aim at stripping Black and indigenous people and women of their rights. I haven't had my birth certificate in more than ten years and it's "expensive" at 30 bucks to get a new one and I still have to wait for it #disability #poverty
