Meanwhile I'm safely (and tiredly) back home. 92.58km, with 1633m of altitude gain (an island is basically a bunch of mountains sticking out of the sea), in 4h 36min of cycling, 5h 17min total time. I was riding solo, which is not as nice as having company, but it leaves a lot of room for spinning thoughts.
