Reasons I hate open plan offices #21036:
Someone is having a very serious conversation with their manager less than 10 feet from me, and I just blasted Girls on Film by Duran Duran across the office during a particularly serious moment while trying to put on some music so that I wasn't eavesdropping.
(It turned out my headphones had switched off because I hadn't used them for a while.)
If anyone needs me, I'll be getting extensive cosmetic surgery and making a new life far away.

@DarkSheepArts@mastoart.social Doesn't help when all the meeting rooms are now booked up at all hours. At a company I was working at during lockdown, a group decided to have their team meeting in the aisle behind me, as it was easier than booking a meeting room.
