@Wen I wonder how many of these bloodthirsty idiots, who usually claim "humans are hunters!" would react if we said sure, you can hunt this lion. Only at night, when it is most active, and you can only use a native spear, not a rifle from some distance away - that's real hunting! I doubt most of them would risk it (and those that did would likely be eaten, so again, win)

@LordWoolamaloo @Wen that reminds me of the tribe who had a speciality of removing prey from lions once they had killed it. In a wonderful combination of courage, brass neck and nerves of steel they would walk straight up to a group of lions in the middle of their dinner, pick it up and carry it away. Without so much as a backward glance! If “hunters” want to do that, my response would be ‘go ahead’!
